Webinar

What’s behind Godello’s growing popularity, and why is Valdeorras central to its story? In this webinar, we’ll explore the unique attributes of this historic Galician wine region, known for its dynamic terroir and expressive white wines.

Godello, a native white grape of Galicia, is increasingly recognised for its vibrant acidity, mineral character, and remarkable aging potential, qualities that are deeply shaped by the terroir of Valdeorras.

Jorge Vila DipWSET, founder and director of the Galicia Wine Academy and author of Discovering the Wines of Galicia, will guide us through the microclimates, soils, grape varieties, and winemaking techniques that shape Valdeorras. With over 15 years of experience promoting Galician wines, Jorge offers expert insight into the evolution of the region and its growing international reputation.

Whether you're expanding your wine knowledge or looking to deepen your understanding of Spain’s diverse appellations, this session offers a valuable look into one of the country’s most exciting wine regions.
