A session for the sherry geeks! Join Certified Sherry Educator Julia Lambeth DipWSET for an exploration of some of the finer details of sherry that are beyond what you will find in a textbook (even at Diploma level). The session will include information on the different clones of palomino, the different pagos of Jerez, the yeast strains that make up flor, and how the aroma compounds change through the various types of maturation and some of the implications of the recent changes to the laws of the region.

Julia has been an educator at WSET School London for over 6 years, where she teachers wine qualifications across Levels 1-4, as well as the beer qualifications. She is a fan of all things fortified, and is both a Certified Sherry Educator and Certified Port Educator. She is also a Master or Wine student, currently working on her research paper for Stage 3.
