Taste your way through eight crisp and beer pairings that will change how you snack forever.
Event details
Forget wine and cheese – pints and crisps are the ultimate pairing. At least, this is what beer educator and crisps enthusiast Ed Wicks DipWSET will aim to prove during this flavour-packed evening celebrating two of life’s great pleasures.
Ed has selected eight different beers – from the mythical Belgian lambic Cantillon to Grodziskie, a smoked beer also known as ‘Polish Champagne’ – which will each be paired with a carefully chosen type of crisps, from pub classics like scampi fries to wild cards such as pesto crisps.
Ed will guide you through the different styles and flavours of beers and crisps, as well as the fundamentals of food and beer pairing, and share the stories behind some of these classic and under-the-radar beers and crisps.
